A few months back, there were talks about the National Award winning team coming back for their next after a gap of three years. Director Vetrimaran and Dhanush who won their maiden National Awards for the Best Screenplay and Best Acting respectively for the 2011 super hit film Aadukalam` started their third film. It was also said that the shooting commenced in ECR and went on for few days. Actor-Director Parthiepan who was offered a role in Aadukalam` and could not bag it had been roped in for an important role in this film.

However there has been no news about the progress of this film for several months This is possibly due to Dhanush getting busy with his prior commitments Velai Illa Pattadhari`, Anegan` and Bollywood venture Shamitabh`. Now VIP has released and the other two films are nearing completion and Dhanush may start working on the Vetrimaran film soon.

In the maiden revelation of sorts about his third directorial, Vetriamaran said in a recent audio release event that he is yet to fix a title for his film but the tentative one is Soodhadi`.
