Actress Kajal Agarwal who was last seen in Tamil in the year`s earliest super hit film Jilla` with Vijay in the lead, has been approached for a role in Jayam Ravi`s upcoming films directed by Suraaj. Industry sources reveal that the Thuppakki` girl quoted a whopping remuneration to sign for the role

The film already has Anjali as one of the heroines who plays a rural belly. The script demands another heroine for the urban portions and it is for this role Kajal has been approached for. Earlier Trisha was strongly considered for the role, but since she had already acted with Ravi in two films including Bhoologam` which is ready to release soon, the makers moved on to Kajal. It is said that Kajal asked Rupees 1.5 crore in total including the salary for her staff. She was not willing to budge a single rupee despite negotiations by the makers.

An industry source adds that Kajal does not have a single film in Tamil or Telugu in hand. Even then she tries to show off as a highly priced actress. This exactly has confused the production house.

Now sources close to the production house Lakshmi Movie Makers reveal that they are in double mind whether or not to commit Kajal for the role paying such a big amount.
