Actor Jayam Ravi is acting in multiple projects simultaneously. One among them is Thani Oruvan` which sees his teaming up with brother director Jayam Raja after a gap of four years.

The film`s interesting casting coup has Nayanthara as the female lead who pairs up with Ravi for the first time despite both of them being in the industry for more than ten years now. Ganesh Venkatraman acts in an important supporting role and the three are said to be featuring as close friends in the flick.

As speculated earlier, Aravind Swamy has been roped in to play an important role in the film. The actor who made a note worth comeback with the Mani Ratnam directed Kadal`, last year has confirmed that he will start acting in Thani Oruvan` from today. Though the actor has not revealed anything about the role he would play the AGS Production venture, reliable sources close to the unit reveal that the man who was one of the most handsome heroes, Tamil Cinema has ever seen, will be acting as the lead villain in the flick touted as a romantic entertainer.
