Dhanush's smoking fires an issue

D25, 'VIP' has emerged as one of the biggest blockbuster in Dhanush's career and a tremendous hit of this year as well. The distributors and theatre owners are delighted about the film's success. The latest news is, Dhanush's smoking poster has created some trouble for the man who celebrated his birthday yesterday.

Tamil Nadu Forum For Tobacco Control(TNFTC) has released a press note and expressed its disappointment over Dhanush for including scenes in the movie which seems to indirectly encourage smoking. The movie posters also carry the same.They went a step further and questions the Censor Board for giving U certificate for the film. TNFTC has requested the TN govt to remove all the posters featuring Dhanush with a cigarette. The same board has already requested, Rajni, Vijay, Ajith, and Suriya not to smoke in their movies.
