Dhanush-Amala Paul starrer 'VIP' is running successfully and already declared as a super hit. Amitesh, the handsome Villain from the movie is none other than a good friend of Anirudh. Amitesh had dreams of becoming a Hero and he worked really hard by graduating from Anupam Kher's acting school. He is a trained dancer and fighter too.

While addressing a recent press meet, Amitesh said though his hometown is Karnataka, he was born and raised in Chennai. Anirudh & I are childhood friends and I was looking for a right opportunity in Tamil industry to debut as a hero. But Anirudh suggested me to Dhanush and he offered me a villain role. I think I've done justice to the given role and I am quite happy that I'm getting abused from fans at the cinema halls. I'm quite confident that I will be featuring in a movie as hero & thanks to Anirudh for such a wonderful visiting card to tinsel town.
