Actor Dhanush's home production venture and his 25th film as an acot, 'Velai Illa Pattadhari' is ready to hit the screens on July 18. The final roadblock was crossed with the successful obtainment of a clean 'U' certificate from the censor officials yesterday.

Directed by acclaimed cinematographer Velraj, the film was allegedly included in the list of 12 films that were waiting for censor certificate due to shortage in censor board members. However the officials have watched the film a couple of days back and a clean chit has been given for the film.

'VIP' has musical score by Anirudh and the songs are already topping the charts. Amala Paul plays Dhanush's love interest for the first time while Samuthirakani, Saranya and Vivekh form part of the supporting cast.
