The Kannada film ‘Rudra Thandava’ a remake of ‘Pandiaraj’ Tamil cinema paid a tribute to ‘Father Day’ on the eve of June 15 celebration. A specially designed clips focusing on the father and sons relationship was made available by director Guru Deshpande at Renukamba Digital theatre. Prior to it the father of the film Dr Girish Karnad, sons Chiranjeevi Sarja, Kumar Govind, actor Vasishta, Shruthi Raj, dialogue writers Guruvendra and Jadesh addressed the media.

Jnanapith award winner Dr Girish Karnad said his purpose of acting should satisfy the director first. Then he feels happy of his work. This film ‘Rudra Thandava’ was best one to exhibit Navarasas of acting. I got good dialogues in this film and spoken too much felt Dr Karnad.

Senior actor, producer and director Kumar Govind went on a flash back of his ‘Sh…’Kannada film days. It was my father who was seeing whether the theatre is full or not. He was real backbone for me in life he stated. It is father who takes on all trouble and in real life struggle of father is very high felt Kumar Govind.

Working with Dr Karnadji I felt like working with my father stated Chiranjeevi Sarja. Vasishta, Shruti Raj, Guruvendra and Jadesh dialogue writers were also present at the father day special meet at Renukamba digital theatre.

Guru Deshpande was very happy with 70 percent of shooting lauded the cast of his film that made him proud. He is having a big event for audio release in September and film will be ready in October says GD.
