Evergreen ‘Hawa Hawaii’ beauty Sridevi who had started her acting career from South is coming to a full circle - by bagging a Tamil project of late. Yes, buzz is that the Bollywood diva has got an offer of Tamil movie, to be directed by Chimbu Devan.

According to a popular entertainment website, the veteran actress in this film will be seen essaying the role of a princess, whose province is destroyed by enemy’s scheming plan. And the film will have none other than – Vijay!! Yet another south star and ‘Makkhi’ famed actor Sudeep has also a prominent role in this one.

Meanwhile we heard that the film will be like the ones of ‘Arundhati’ and ‘Magadheera’ kind of genre – a movie which will be based on present time and have few portions of historical action. Touted as an action drama, the film is expected to be a great treat for Vijay fans – where we will have Chimbu Devan, who earlier gave hit periodical movies (Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam), now wielding the mic for Ilayathalapathi in this different-era project. This mega movie will have heavy dose of action and humour.

However, nothing much has been confirmed on this project from the concerned sources. Only the fact that, Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor has confirmed that the actress has bagged the movie.

Incidentally, if all goes well with this movie then it will be third time that Sridevi will play such royal role – earlier being two Bollywood films ‘Chandramukhi’ (Salman Khan) and ‘Khuda Gawah’ (Amitabh Bachchan). And if it works, then Sridevi can complete the trilogy of being a princess on screen….
