Actor Ajith’s 55th film was in news for bad reasons thanks to rumors suggesting that the production manager of the Gautham menon directorial flick has been arrested for shooting the film without obtaining permission. This was however cleared as mere rumour by official sources close to the film.

Now the good news about the successful completion of second schedule of the shoot has come from the tweet of it s cinematographer Don Macarthur. It seems the team will take a break for a week’s time before commencing the third schedule

Don has tweeted “#Thala55 schedule 2 complete resume in 1 week. Thanks to the team!”

The yet to be titled film that is being produced by A.M.Ratnam under Sri Satya Sai Movies banner is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year and Gautham is planning the schedules accordingly. The film stars Anushka, Trisha, Arun Vijay and Vivekh alongside Ajith and music is being scored by Harris Jayaraj who has joined hands with Gautham after a gap of six years.
