Actor Vijay Vasanth who played effective supporting roles in ‘Chennai 600 028’ and ‘Nadodigal’ has elevated as the lead hero in the film ’Ennamo Nadakkudhu’ that released over the weekend. Directed by debutante Rajapandi and produced by Vijay Vansanth’s home banner Triple V Recotds, the film was touted as a crime thriller.

'Ennamo Nadakkadhu' on the verge of success

The film stars Mahima Nambiar as the lead heroine. Prabhu, Rahman, Sukanya, Saranya Ponvanna and Thambi Ramiah have acted in pivotal roles. The film that released as one of the three releases last week has gained positive word of mouth and good reviews. This has brought in immediate fortunes for the underdog film with the screen count of the film being increased by 30% from today (April 28).

In the forthcoming four day weekend starting on May 1, a public holiday which falls on Thursday, does not have any prominent release except ‘Nee Enge En Anbe’ starring Nayanthara in the lead role. Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ will be releasing on the next Friday that is May 9.

This two week gap coupled with increase in the number of screens is sure going to benefit the box office performance of ‘Ennamo Nadakkudhu’.
