Though it has been announced that the film will go on floors on April 9, the uncertainty prevails over the cast and crew of Ajith’s 55th film to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Anushka will be the female lead of the film as it has been confirmed when director Vijay congratulated the tall actress for bagging the role in the audio launch event of his upcoming film Saivam. Both Anuskha and Gautham who were present at the event reacted with an acknowledging smile.

As for as music is concerned talks are on with Harris Jeyaraj since A.R.Rahman has reportedly conveyed his inability to take up the project owing to prior commitments.

News about Trisha being considered for another heroine role in the film is doing rounds from this morning. When we contacted sources close to the film’s unit they confirmed that indeed there is another heroine role in the film and Trisha is being considered for the role. But the Endrendrum Punnagai actress is stationed abroad as of now and things can not be confirmed unless she returns home and takes a call on the offer. The sources added that even if Trisha signs up for the project she will not take part in the first schedule of the shoot that is all set to begin on April 9.

So the confirmed news as of now is that there is scope for another heroine apart from Anuska in the script written by Gautham for Ajith 55. Either Trisha or any other lucky lady will grab the role.
