Debutante director Raju Murugan’s Cuckoo has been running to packed houses with so much of critical acclaim pouring in from all quarters. The film which explored the love between two visually impaired persons is regarded as one of the poetic films made on love.

Recently the film got the appreciation from a social organization called Raindrops. Founded in 2011by Aravind Jayaban, the youth based organization concentrates on delivering social awareness messages to the public through entertainment and media.

Raindropss, took 25 visually challenged people to see Cuckoo film for Monday evening show in a famous theatre in Chennai. Aravind who had watched the film with the visually challenged people said, “I was impressed by the way Raju Murugan has portrayed the life of visually challenged people. We wanted to make these visually challenged people happy and took them to watch the film, listen to brilliant dialogue and music, thanks to Mahendran Raja and Anitha Mahendran for supporting us and making this happen"

Raju Murugan, Dinesh who acted as the lead man Tamizh in the film, Cinematographer P.K.Varma and A.R.Raihanah (Brand Ambassador of Raindrops), joined them for the show along with the Raindropss family.
