It is said 'actors are not born, but made.' This fits actor Vivek, who started his film career as a comedian and won the hearts of cine buffs with his slapstick comedies to make it to the top to grab the role of hero in IndianTheatre Productions S K Krishnakanth's 'Sollie Adippaen'. All because of his sheer dedication and determination to his profession.
SAC Ramki, who worked as an assistant with director S A Chandrasekar, has written the story, screenplay and is making his debut as a director.
Vivek is pairing with Chaya Singh. Others in the cast include Tejashri, Asish Vidyarthi, Delhi Ganesh, Chinni Jayanth, Mayilsamy, Aditya Sankar, Thara, Jayamurali.
B Mathi is handling the camera while Deva is scoring the music to the lyrics of Pa Vijay and Kalaikumar.Dinesh is in charge of choreography, while Jaguar Thangam handles the stunts, editing by S Sathish and J N Harsha and art by Muruganshree.
'It's was a great honor for me to receive accolades from thespian Sivaji Ganesan, while working in 'Once More' which I value a lot,' says Ramki.
For the debutant director, the success behind the script was mainly due to his systematic planning and dedication. 'Since Vivek was the only person to fit in into this story, I selected him as the hero', he said and added that fans can see him in a totally different role.
The film is under production and is to be shot at the picturesque locales of Mangalore, Yercaud, Thiruvanthapuram besides Madurai and Chennai.
The film is slated for a December release.
