Manisha Yadav who proved herself as an actress with ability to perform with her fist two films Vazahkku En 18/9 and Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer was initially roped in as the heroine of National award winning director Seenu Ramasami‘s Idam Porul Eval. She was supposed to pair up with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time.

The film’s shooting started last week in Kodaikkanal and the actress took part in the shoot. However after the first two days of shoot, the director felt that Manisha yadav did not fit in the role of the love interest of Vijay Sethupathi which is a rural girl character. Hence the young actress has been removed from the film.

Seenu Ramasami’s version of the story goes as he offered Manisha the role opposite Vishnu Vishal who is another hero in the film. However Manisha was not willing to take that role and hence she was removed from the film.

Sources close to the actress say that the actress will approach the council seeking compensation.
