A NGO group called Resource Group for Education and Advocacy for Community Health (Reach) is conducting a awarness campaign, on account of World Tuberculosis day which falls on March 24. This campaing lead by actor Suriya intends to rope in the common people to spread awareness about the TB disease.

The press release from Reach states that the campaign will explain that TB spreads through air and everybody is prone to the disease. People can volunteer to spread the awareness. All they have to do is to make a call and get registeed for the campaign, following which they will get a campaign kit. With this kit they can conduct the awareness campaign among their near and dear on any day falling between March 23 and 30.

The participants of this campaign will get a letter of appreciation from Suriya. .

Suriya who is known for his philanthropic activities through his Agaram foundation which does phenomenal service in educating the underprivileged children has always lent his support in various forms to events and campaigns conducted in public interest and this is yet another addition to the long list.
