Latest buzz doing rounds in the tinsel town is that there will be no release for the whole of the month of April 2014 owing to impending Lok Sabha Elections.

Yesterday the election commission announced the dates for election in various states and the elections for 39 constituencies in Tamilnadu are going to be held on April 24. However the public is expected to be in political fervor for the entire month and watching movies will certainly take a backseat.

Superstar Rajnikanth’s Kochadiiyaan announced as a Tamil New year attraction that will hit the screen globally on April 11. Vishal’s Naan Sigappu Manidhan and Siva Karthikeyan’s Maan Karathe are the other biggies that were expected to release in April. But now all the three films have backed out as per reports coming from kollywood.
