When he met the Press after the prestigious Padma Bhushan award had been conferred upon him, Ulaganaygan Kamalhassan said that he does not wish to write an autobiography. But that does not stop others writing about the multi talented star, enumerating his umpteen achievements and enormous contributions that he has made to the film industry throughout his career that is 55 year long and still running.

A book titled ‘Aboorva Nayagan’, a book on actor Kamal Hassan was released yesterday in the Alwapet office of the veteran actor.

Mr. K.R. Nagarajan, Founder and Chairman, Ramraj Cotton, who incepted the idea for this book hosted the book release function and launched the book. Dr. Kamal Hassan received the first copy of the book from Mr. K.R. Nagarajan in the presence of the actors’ fans and fan club members.

The book, ‘Aboorva Nayagan’ has priceless collections of rare pictures of Dr.Kamal Hassan in his movies and life related poems of renowned Tamil poets. The book is the exhaustive repository of Dr. Kamal Hassan’s achievements and contribution to Tamil Cinema.

The attempt by Mr.K.R.Nagarajan can be considered as the best tribute to Kamalhassan who is one of the ambassadors of Indian cinema to the world.
