Keyaar went on say “Even major stars refuse to attend the audio release of their own films. In such an environment Vijay Sethupathi obliging to grace us with his presence for events that don’t have to do anything with his film has to be commended. His selfless action that helps and promotes other’s films has to be recognized and celebrated. Other actors should take a page from his actions and emulate him”.

Keyaar also pointed to Kamalhassan and Surya having the same kind of attitude in promoting others films.
