It’s certainly good news for Vijay fans. The Star’s next film after the super hit Jilla that released for Pongal, has kick started today in a famous temple of Hindu Goddess Kali in Kolkata. The untitled film is going to be written and directed by A.R.Murugdoss whose previous outing with Vijay was the blockbuster film Thuppakki.

Today morning a small Pooja has been performed on behalf of the films unit in which both Vijay and Murugdoss took part. Later the first day shoot took place in the temple itself. The film is being produced by Laika Prodcutions. Samantha has been confirmed as the heroine to pair up withVijay for the first time in this film. The lass is expected to join the crew after finishing her part in the film Anjaan directed by Lingusamy, in which she is paired up with actor Surya.

Anirudh Ravichandar the hot and happening young music director is joining hands with ARM for the first time and this is his first film with a huge star like Vijay. Earlier today, Indiaglitz had reported that the Kolaveri fame composer is planning to make Vijay croon a peppy number in this film
