Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal the film produced by Udhyanidhi Stalin who also stars in it as the lead hero is gearing up to release as a Valentines day attraction on February 14th. The film is directed by S.R.Prabhakaran of Sundarapandiyan fame and Nayanthara is pairing up with Udhay and the film is expected to offer a terrific comedy package with two leading comedians Santhanam and Soori included in the star cast.

The Tax Exemption committee formed by TN Government has refused to give 30% Entertainment tax exemption for this film which has acquired a clean U certificate from the Censor Board. While the reason for such rejection is unknown, Udhayanidhi Stalin on behalf of his Red Gaint Films production company, has filed a case in Court requesting to form a separate committe to watch his film and decide whether the film really deserved the Tax exemption or not.

The court which has admitted Udhay's petition, has ordered the Tax exemption committee to file its reply

Udhayanidhi Stalin’s debut film as a hero Ok OK met the same fate and he could avail the tax exemption for the U certified film, only after seeking the Court’s intervention.
