After the horror film Shock, Prashanth's next is a romantic entertainer Ayudham. It is said to be nearing completion and getting ready for release. Produced by CTV Entertainment, Ayudham is directed by Murugesh, who had a bad outing in his debut venture Indru Mudhal.

Prashanth says, 'following a serious role in Shock, I wanted my next to be quite relaxed and entertaining. Thanks to director Murugesh, I got a good role in Ayudham. Action, humor, romance and sentiments finds a right place in the movie to enthrall movie-buffs'. CTV Entertainment had earlier produced few movies including Jeans, Kadhal Kavithai, Jodi and Majnu, all with Prashanth in the lead. Ayudham has Prashanth opposite Sneha. It is a campus love story being directed by Murugesh, whose debut venture bombed at the box-office. Both Prashanth and Sneha play the role of medical students. Interestingly, Sneha donned the role of a doctor in Vasool Raja MBBS too.

Ayudham is sure to appeal to youngsters, says Prashanth. Vadivelu, Janakaraj, Mansoor Alikhan, Manobala, Besant Ravi, Rajesh, Ajay Rathnam, Raman Ayyar and Kalairani are also in the cast. This is Sneha's second venture with Prashanth. She made her debut with Prashanth in Virumbugiren. Apart from Sneha, a Mumbai girl Rasna is being introduced in the movie. A couple of songs and few portions of the movie were shot in London recently. Interestingly, more than 100 artistes of London Theatres, who acted in the play Bombay Dreams, danced for a song.

Music is by Dhina, while lyrics are by Snehan, Pa Vijay and Viveka.

Tharunkumar, Brinda and Dinesh are handling the choreography.
