Kamal Confirms 'Drishyam' Remake

After the tremendous positive response for Malayalam flick 'Drishyam', Kollywood is abuzz with news that the film is to be remade in Tamil with Kamal Hassan in the lead role. Now Padma Bhushan Kamal Hassan has confirmed this project. Tamil remake rights of this Mohanlal-Meena super hit flick are with producer Suresh Balaji, who is also Mohanlal's brother-in-law.

The Tamil remake of this project is reported to be helmed by director Jeethu Joseph, for Wide Angle Creations. 'Drishyam' is a story that revolves around the life of a farmer, George Kutty. There is a buzz now that Kamal Hassan has even signed the dotted line for the project. Other cast and crew information is likely to be announced soon.
