February 2nd marks yet another important day for Dharmendra and Hema Malini, when their darling (second) daughter, Ahana Deol leaves for her better-half Vaibhav Arora’s home.

With hardly two days left for the grand occasion the family is said to be bustling with marriage preparations. The invitation cards have been sent out. The wedding venue is all set. Costumes have been readied. And excitement is at peak. B-Town is waiting to catch a glimpse of this Big Fat Wedding.

While doting mother Hema Malini had shopped for her elder daughter Esha Deol’s wedding from south, for Ahana the veteran actress has bought things from places closer home. Hema Malini reported to have shopped from Mumbai and Jaipur. While Ahana’s mehendi ensemble has been designed by Neeta Lulla, her wedding attire is done by Manish Malhotra.

According to sources, Ahana and Vaibhav will have a grand wedding and reception at a five-star hotel near the Mumbai airport on Feb 2nd and another reception on Feb 5th in Delhi, since Vaibhav’s family is based there.

Amidst all these planning and preparation, papa Dharm ji is feeling emotional as well to watch his youngest beti grown up to become a bride. "A daughter’s wedding is every parent’s responsibility but we don’t want to get rid of our daughters. It’s painful, but has to be done," said the iconic star in an interview.
