February 14 is already clogged with love in the air and releases gearing up in Kollywood, and it would have only been a further stifling competition, had 'Isai' also hit the screens the same day. But director-actor SJ Suryah has declared that the film is postponed to April. The film is said to be a musical thriller, starring Suryah and debutante Savithri in the lead. Speaking to the media, Suryah reveals that Savithri is like a pro, with no hint of being a new face. She is reported to be cooperating well for the shooting schedules, and Suryah has pinned his hopes on her to be a healthy competition to leading actresses like Hansika, Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah, once the film is out.
The team was recently reported to have erected an opulent set, recreating an entire village, complete with a church and forty houses, totaling to a whooping cost of 80 crore rupees! The team has been shooting in the set near Kodaikanal. Further details on the film will be revealed soon; as of now, it is confirmed that 'Isai' will hit the screens early this summer.
