Guna Sekhar - Anushka’s historical epic 'Rudrama Devi' presented by Ragini Guna, the first historic stereoscopic 3D film in Indian history is shooting some hair raising war sequences from the 29th January at a special set erected by Thota Tarani in Rama Naidu Gopanapally studios.

Guna Sekhar said ‘Rani Rudrama had erected a seven wall structure that worked as a great security for the fort. Padmasri Thota Tarani has erected with the same detail and expertise as the original at the Rama Naidu studios. We will be shooting from the 29th January to the 20th February in a never seen production. The sequences will give the audience an almost real time experience in the 3D. Almost all the principal cast along with thousands of junior artists will be taking part in the shoot’

Anushka and Rana are the lead pair in the film which also casts Krishnam Raju, Suman, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menon, Catherine, Prabha, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Aditya Menon, Prasad Aditya, Ajay, Vijay Kumar, Venu Madhav, Uttej, Vennela Kishore, Krishna Bhagavan, Ahuthi Prasad, Chalapathi Rao, Sivaji Raja, Sammeta Gandhi, Aditi Chengappa, Sana, Raksha etc.

One of the most prestigious projects in Telugu of late, this films has an eminent crew including Maestro Ilayaraja composing music, Tota Tarani as Art Director, DP Ajay Vincent, Neeta Lulla the Costume Designer (Jodha Akbar Fame), Editing by Sreekar Prasad, VFX supervision by Kamal Kannan (Prasads EFX), Dialogus by Paruchuri Brothers, Lyrics by Seetharama Shastri, Fights by Vijay, Costumes by V.
