ACTION:

The inaugural films for January 3rd 2014 are not much exciting except a remake film starring heavy weight Malashri. The action queen of many super hit films in the past is having first release of her film for 2014. In 2012 Malashri opened the account with ‘Shakthi’ that did well in the box office.

Malashri in ‘Gharshane’ is taking on two sundry films ‘Karnataka Ayodhyapura’ and ‘Vishva Vinayaka’. Gharshane is a remake of Cheran ‘Yutham Sei’ and addition action to boost up the image of Malashri has been done by director Dayal Padmanabhan. It is a thriller; edge of the seat film on the lines of yesteryears Sunil Kumar Desai films is the claim of Dayal Padmanabhan. A vibrant youth Shyamprasad has penned some stunning dialogues to match the circumstances it is learnt. Malashri is not using the regular cop uniform but acted in a copy cat film.

Apparently this is the first outside banner of Malashri after 14 years for Shanker Productions. Producers – Shanker Gowda and Shanker Reddy, Music – Manikanth Khadri, Cinematography – Rajesh Kata, Malashri has a big supporting cast such as Roopika, Ravishanker, Ayyappa Sharma, Suchindra Prasad, Pavitra Lokesh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Gururaj Hoskote, Kashi, Mico Nagaraj and others.

LOVE STORY:

KARNATAKA AYODHYAPURA - dipped in controversy from the beginning till the censor certificate for the word ‘Ayodhya’ in the title is from a batch of new producer Madhusudhan and director Lava V. This film got certificate from the revising committee. It is the tale of a local boy love story. The heroine hails from Muslim community. The attire of Lord Rama for hero Rakesh Adiga created controversy when the posters were released. Nayana Gowda is female lead. Achyuth Kumar, Swastick Shanker, Bullet Prakash, Akshay, Harish, Mohan Juneja and others are in the cast. William is cameraman and Sagar Nagabhushan has scored music.

VISHWA VINAYAKA – It is also a devotional beginning besides an action filled ‘Gharshane’ and two religions based love story for the beginning of the years.
