Kareena Kapoor is confirmed for 'Shuddhi'

Of late speculations were rife that Deepika Padukone has replaced Kareen Kapoor in Karan Malhotra’s upcoming directorial ‘Shuddhi’. But now the maker has rubbished such talks as mere rumours and confirmed Kareena as the film’s leading lady.

Referring ‘Shuddhi’ as a one-heroine project, Malhotra in an interview stated that Kareena is indeed part of the film while news about Deepika is false. He further praised the actress by calling her beautiful, talented and a powerhouse performer.

Starring Hrithik Roshan in lead, ‘Shuddhi’ is an intense love story and revolves around the concept of reincarnation.
