There is more good news about 'Veeram', as the waiting time till its release is shrinking. Come new year, 'Veeram' hits the screens for an entertaining Thala Pongal on January 10th. With the team having completed most of the shooting, post production work has begun and is in progress at a great pace. Much earlier from its release, the Ajith starrer has already started making big time business, selling like hot cakes, with distributors rushing in to clinch the deal for whooping sums.

Rama Narayanan's Thenandal Films, we hear, has acquired the Chennai and NSC rights for 'Veeram' for a huge sum. Funded by Vijaya Productions, helmed by Siva of 'Siruthai' fame, with Ajith and Tamannah in the lead, 'Veeram' also includes Santhanam, Vidharth, Bala, Munish, Devadarshini, Vidyullekha Raman, Suhai Chandhok and Pradeep Rawat, among others, to its star cast. With the producers wanting to have the first copy ready by next month end, work is on full swing. The team is looking forward to get the film certified by the Censor Board, in the first week of the upcoming year.
