The trailer of a film has won its director an expensive tribute.

The trailer of ‘Thotti Jaya’ pleased its producer, ‘Kalaippuli’ Thanu, so much that he has presented director Durai of ‘Mukavari’ fame with a Hundai Accent car worth about Rs 0.8 million.

The film itself, expected to strike a different path, involves a 10-day shooting on board a train on a Chennai-Kolkata-Kanyakumari trip.
