Salman Khan is undeniably one of the biggest box office stars in the Bollywood and it's apparant that every filmmaker wants to cast him in their film as his involvement gaurantees tremendous box office success. However there was one filmmaker who turned him down and it was none other than SS Rajamauli. Known as the biggest visionary director of India, Rajamauli's collaboration with Salman would have been a treat for fans.
Rajamauli was narrated the script of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' by writer K.V. Vijayendra Prasad in hopes of getting him into the director's chair but things didn't work out. Vijayendra says, "I chose the wrong time to narrate the story. I narrated the story of Rajamouli when he was shooting the war sequences. It was peak time for us and he was fully focused on the shoot. I should have picked a proper time to narrate the story to my son.”
The film was ultimately directed by Kabir Khan and it turned out to be a huge comercial and critical success. Currently, Rajamauli is working on his period action drama 'RRR'.
