Raraaj combines ‘Sreshtaru’ by Thyagaraj is a story derived from crop loss of farmer he visited in Chitradurga district. For this he mixed the demise of soldier Hanumantha Koppad tragedy. The trouble of the country at the hands of terrorists is a good mix for a commercial end to the short film.
In the northern part of Karnataka Challakere, Hiriyur for five days Thyagaraj shot for this short film. Viraj introduced Ra Rajaeshwari couple and they came forward to meet the further expenses for the film.
Thyagaraj spent Rs.2.5 lakhs on this short film and assures return of Rs.1.75 lakhs via ticket sale for a few shows. Later on he is taking the film to various awards and having shows at different districts to get back the investment.
Smt Rajeshwari says she had seen the struggle of this team and came forward for the support. This is a very neat and interesting short film she says.
Ajith cameraman has used the Sony brand camera for this short film. Naveen of Koppal district is in farmer role. He has learnt the diction of that region to perform in the role. Viraj actor in a comedy role in ‘Pushpaka Vimana’ of last year played soldier role. Ashwini in farmer wife role has acted in short films earlier.
It is Jairaj Combines short film Kiran U editing, Sunil Bagewadi drone camera operator, Nabin Paul music, Ravi D and Amarnath dialogue part of main technical team.
Girish Bijwal, Bhargava Mahesh, Kannan, Vilesh, Vishwnath VB, Arun and Manja are co actors of this film ‘Sreshtaru’.
