'2 States' actor Shiv Subrahmanya passes away

Seasoned actor Shiv Subrahmanyam, who is best known for playing Alia Bhatt's father in '2 States', passed away on Sunday night. The actor has given impressive performances in films like 'Meenakshi Sundareshwar', 'Rocky Handsome' and 'Stanley Ka Dabba' and apart from that he was an established screenwriter as well.
It was filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who informed fans about the demise of Shiv Subrahmanyan by tweeting a heartfelt message about him. He wrote, "With profound and heartfelt grief, we wish to inform you of the passing of one of the most dignified and noble souls to inhabit human form - our dearest Shiv Subrahmanyam. Incredibly talented, he was much loved and revered personally as well as professionally."
He further added, "We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Diyya, her mum, dad, Rohan, Rinki, and family; Bhanu chitti and all of Shiv's family; and his huge legion of friends and fans." Soon after this Ranveer Shorey also expressed his condolances by writing, "Terrible news. The sadness doesn’t end. A great guy, and incredible talent. Gone too soon. #RIP #respect."
