News that will surely bring a sigh of relief from millions of fans all over the world is here which is that there is a marked improvement in the health of S.P. Balasubrahmanyam according to his son Charan. The legend is undergoing treatment for COVID 19 in intensive care at a private hospital in Chennai and from August 13th night he has been put under ventilator and ECMO support.

Charan has updated that he visited SPB at the hospital today and found him off sedation and he was much more responsive and the doctors have also told him that there is an improvement in his lungs. The other good news is that SPB is listening to his songs and is also trying to sing along and he even tried to write something to communicate with his son but couldn't hold the pen.

Charan calls it the first step of recovery of SPB and hopes that many more steps follow and his dad will get back home even though it may take some time. On behalf of his family he thanked all those who prayed for the legend.
