Activist and model Rehana Fathima has been booked for sharing on Facebook a video of herself lying half-naked on her bed and making her children draw art on her body. Rehana posted the video titled 'Body and Politics' on YouTube and Facebook.

Sharing the video on social media, she said, “Any child who grows up seeing her mother’s body won’t be able to humiliate a woman’s body…”

The video started circulating on social media and led to controversy. Based on a complaint by a Thiruvalla-based lawyer, Arun Prakash, the Police has filed a case under Section 67 (electronically transmitting sexually explicit content) of IT Act, and Section 75 (punishment for cruelty to child) of Juvenile Justice Act. There is also a demand for invoking POCSO act against her.
