VIRAL: Mohanlal video conference with health workers, sings for them

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal who recently contributed rupees 50 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the cause of coronavirus, interacted with Kerala Health Minister K.K. Shailaja and about 250 health professionals across the state on Wednesday. Appreciating their great service to the society, the actor also sang a popular Malayalam film song "Lokem muzhuven sukem pakeran ayi snehadeepeme mizhi thureku" from the 1972 film 'Snehadeepame Mizhi Thurakku'.
The interaction which lasted for over one-hour had Mohanlal thanking each and every health worker for doing great service to the society by foregoing all their difficulties, besides pointing out that the coming days will be crucial for the state. As many as 250 health workers, including principals and superintendents of the COVID-19 hospitals in all districts, attended the video conference.
“Health workers at all levels interacted with Mohanlal directly. Many expressed that they are hardcore fans of the actor,” wrote Health Minister Shailaja teacher on her Facebook handle. The actor also gave a 'big salute' to the minister who is leading all the health workers engaged in the fight against the pandemic.
Mohanlal and his family are at his Chennai residence even since the lockdown began.
