A remarkable event unfolded in Ayodhya on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami. At the newly constructed Ram Temple, sunlight directly fell upon the forehead of the child Rama statue. This phenomenon is being called " Surya Abhishekam" (Sun Shower) or " Surya Tilak" (Sun Mark).
Sunlight's Divine TouchBetween 12 PM and 12:05 PM, the sun's rays shone directly on the forehead of the Rama statue for about four minutes. The light formed a 75mm wide circular mark resembling a religious tilak. This breathtaking spectacle left devotees awestruck.
Scientific Precision Behind the Miracle
Scientists from IIT Roorkee designed a special apparatus that precisely directed the sunlight onto the statue's forehead. This innovative mechanism ensured the sun's rays fell on the intended spot during that specific time window.
Important Information for Devotees
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has issued guidelines for visiting the temple. Special guests seeking darshan (holy viewing) of the child Rama statue after April 19th need to obtain permission from the Trust. All devotees entering the temple must follow the designated route. They are also advised to avoid bringing mobile phones and other valuables.
Festive Glory and Security Measures
The Ram Temple was adorned with vibrant LED lights for Rama Navami. Security arrangements were also amplified within the temple premises. To avoid delays and inconvenience during darshan, devotees are encouraged to leave their mobile phones and valuables at home. The Rama Navami celebrations at the temple were broadcasted live on Doordarshan, the national television channel.
This miraculous event has undoubtedly instilled joy and devotion amongst Rama's devotees. The precise alignment of sunlight with the statue has added a unique touch to the Rama Navami celebrations in Ayodhya.
