Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s passion for films needs no introduction to one and all. The latest is that he tried his hands at the camera in the sets of ‘Thupaki’! He donned the hat of a cameraman for a candid scene set in a real location at Mumbai for this biggie.

Ace multi-faceted Santosh Sivan is the cameraman for this AR Murugadoss venture. Ever since the film went on floors the duo hit off a great rapport and in fact it is said that Santosh Sivan and Vijay will soon be coming together for an offbeat venture.

With Santosh Sivan’s assistance for this crowded scene set in Bandra, Vijay quickly shot a scene that features him. Santosh was reportedly surprised as the shot was perfect and retained it in the film. The team had to wrap the scene as people became aware of the matinee idol’s presence amidst them.

‘Thupaki’ featuring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal has music by Harris Jayaraj who is also making Vijay croon for a peppy number in this film. The latest is that the film will be remade in Hindi with Akshay Kumar on board.
