Though his debut film as a director 'Bombay, March 12', didn't set any waves in the Box office, acclaimed scriptwriter Babu Janardhanan is now ready to kick start his next with a vengeance. This time he will be trying for a satirical take on the rising number of demi gods and fraudulent spiritual leaders in the state and will tell the life story of one among them, who keep on changing his preaching and beliefs as per the demands of the situation. Interestingly, Babu has confirmed Kunchakko Boban to play the lead character in this film, which is sure to offer him a much different roles than the one that he is doing right now. Babu Janardhanan himself will write the script and dialogues for the film, which will also feature Suraj Venjarmoodu in a double role. Babu is busy with the final casting and crew listing of the movie which will kick start its shoot by the month of March.

Babu will continue with the music of Afsal Yusaf who has presented him with some fine tunes in his debut film. After 'Bhakthi Prasthanam' Babu Janardhanan will focus on direction with new projects with leading young stars like Prthiviraj and Jayasurya.
