UTV Motion Pictures is entering Malayalam films with lGrand Master', written and directed by B Unnikrishnan. The latest is that Narain will join this film in a powerful role with Mohanlal. 'Grand Master' which is currently in the pre-production stage, will go on floors in December in Kerala.

The film stars Mohanlal, Narain, Jaya Menon, Roma, Sampath, Siddique, Jagadhy, Saikumar and many others. The film has music from Deepak Dev and three songs have already been composed.

With 'Grand Master', Mohanlal gets back to an interesting cop role. The film is a racy family centric thriller and revolves around three key characters.

Narain, who played the lead role in the recently released Malayalam film 'Veeraputran', is quite excited with the role and when Unnikrishnan narrated the script he immediately signed on the dotted lines. Narain is also playing a powerful anti-hero role in UTV Motion Pictures' Mugamoodi, a superhero film which is also getting in to the floors soon.
