In an interesting change of events, hit director Vysakh has opted for a relatively fresher face instead of young superstar Prithviraj for his new movie titled as 'Mallu Singh'. The new replacement for Prithvi will be Unni Mukundan of 'Bombay March 12', who is currently looked upon as an actor poised to bring in much surprises.

Vysakh has already shot the new photo sessions with Unni, in the same type of costumes that was earlier offered to Prithvi for its initial photo session. The change of hero is largely attributed to the clash of dates of the star who has given priority dates to many other projects including his first Hindi film. Vysakh, on the other hand was all set to shoot the move during the January-March season when there is good greenery in Punjab, it's major location. The director who was left with no other options was thus forced to look for an another hero.

'Mallu Singh' which is planned to be on sets by the last week of December will also feature Kunchakko Boban, Biju Menon, Manoj K Jayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the important roles.
