Featuring foreign artist Daniela as the heroine, the movie has Dileep as a mimicry artist forced to take up the job of a cook in Spain.

The shifting of release of 'Spanish Masala' will help Dileep's other film on production 'Mr Marumakan' to grace the theatres for this Bakrid season. The few scenes that was left to shoot for this movie by director Sandhya Mohan, had been completed with Dileep and Khushboo.
