The mega event ‘Suryatejus’ planned by the Malayalam actors’ association (AMMA) in Bangalore has been postponed indefinitely. The show was to have happened yesterday Sunday, February 27.

The reason given by the organizers for the indefinite postponement of the function is that the Bangalore police could note provide adequate security as the entire force will be busy at the cricket stadium where the World Cup cricket match will be on the same day.

The AMMA event was programmed well in advance. But due to the last minute change of venue for the India – England cricket match from Kolkata to Bangalore has spoiled the party of the Malayalam film fans. When it came to a crunch situation the authorities decided give priority to the cricket match.

However the AMMA event planned at Kozhikode on March 2 is on schedule and will enthrall the fans as per plans.
