One of the most expected movies of the year ‘Anwar’ opened today in 98 centres, including four in Bangalore. Produced by Celebs and Red Carpets, the movie is the third offering from Amal Neerad, whose earlier movies like Big B and Sagar Elias Jacky were appreciated by the critics and masses alike.

Featuring Prithviraj in a full length thriller, the movie is based on a plot on terrorism and religion. The songs of the movie by Gopi Sundar were shot at the Shittey valley, which is also a highlight of the movie.

The movie presents three new faces in the technical side including the cameraman Satheesh Kurup, the man behind its Publicity stills Shahin Thaaha and poster designer Sreejith. The movie shot in three different formats, Super 16, Super 35 and 17 also has plenty of Slow motion sequences and action.

The movie which is shot in a shoe-string budget is said to be technically perfect movie, with a contemporary story by the first show audience.
