In this season of sequel rains, another hit movie of the nineties will have its sequel this year. The comedy hit ‘Mookkilla Rajyathu’ which was even remade into Hindi last year, will get a sequel under the direction of its original director Thaha.

In fact the original had been directed by Thaha in association with Ashokan, but for the new movie Thaha alone will call the shots as the latter has left filmdom. The movie to be produced by Star India cinemas will feature the original protagonists played by Mukesh, Jagathy, Siddhique and Thilakan in the same roles of nuts under treatment in a mental assylum. The new movie will also feature Lal, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Kottyam Nazeer in prominent roles. The director is in the lookout for a fresh face as heroine of his movie.
