After finding a super hit in ‘Pappy Appacha’, which occurred to the actor in a gap of a few years without big hits, Dileep has decided to play safe by cutting short the number of movies he will be on. He will be concentrating more on his movie production activities along with his acting profession. His next release will be ‘Filmstar’ in which he will play the role of a scriptwriter, with Kalabhavan Mani appearing in the title role. The movie will have him in a role just like the one he did in the last year's hit ‘Passenger’.

Anyhow, Dileep's next solo flick will be ‘Kaaryasthan’ directed by debutant Thomson. A mass comedy entertainer scripted by Sibi K Thomas - Udhay Krissna duo, the movie is expected to start its shoot by the mid of July. The actor, who is on a US trip currently, will return to Kerala only by July to join the sets of this movie, to do the title character of a care taker of a big joint family.

The movie will also unite Suraj Venjaramoodu with Dileep after a gap of four years. Almost all of the comedy stars of Malayalam will come up for this hilarious flick which will be thickly packed with Mass masala ingredients. Slated as a Ramzan release, 'Kaaryasthan' will also feature a new girl as heroine.
