‘Kadhal’ fame Sandhya, whose career was going nowhere in recent times has suddenly shifted her interest to Mollywood for some good times. The talented actress who had been the star of hits like ‘Kadhal’ and ‘Dishyum’, couldn't get the best of this commercial biggies and was around some non happening projects in Tamil.

She had earlier been in Malayalam for films like ‘Prajapathy’ and ‘Cycle’, but was not keen on keeping updated with her Mollywood schedules. Anyhow, the actress now has started to recheck her Malayalam chances and is currently on the sets of 'College Days', featuring Indrajith. The latest news is that Sandhya has also grabbed the heroine role of the movie 'Sahasram' opposite Suresh Gopi. The movie will have Suresh Gopi as an IPS officer named Vishnusahasranamam. Mahasamudram fame S Janardhanan does the direction while Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Sarayu will also be on other prominent roles in this movie.

With the exit of the few heroines from Mollywood following their marriages, it seems that Sandhya will find some more good roles and chances to prove herself in Malayalam.
