After ‘Neelathamara’, it's' ‘Rathi Nirvedam’

Producer Suresh Kumar of Revathy Kalamandhir who has found a success with the remake of ‘Neelathamara’ seems to have decided to move on in the same direction remaking more movies from the past. He has now started operations to remake another sensitive hit of the seventies ‘Rathi Nirvedam’.

The original which was released in 1978 was directed by Bharathan and written by Padmarajan. The movie which told about the intense obsession of an adolescent boy towards a much aged lady of the neighbourhood, featured Jayabharathy and Krishnachandran.

Suresh Kumar hasn't yet announced the full crew of the movie, but stated that the lead roles of the movie will be played by newcomers in the remake.
