Popular actor Mukesh is in the opinion that the new faces who are landing into Mollywood as heroines are wasting good roles, listening to their 'Godfathers'. These kinds of godfathers starts controlling their heroines from the very second movie that comes the actor's way. Mukesh was talking to the newsmen after the preview of his latest movie ‘Mummy And Me’.

Director Jithu Jospeh revealed that even after his movie being a heroine oriented one, it took him some years to get the actor to play the heroine role of the mother to an young daughter. 'My film would have remained on paper if Urvashy had not agreed to do the role of the mother’s character. I approached many others to do the role, the offer turned down instantly as they didn't like to play a mom character. Many senior actresses were even then looking for heroine roles and doubted that this movie will tarnish their chances as heroines to superstars. It is high time these actresses must change their attitude towards the role they essay', says Jithu, who made a good debut with Suresh Gopi starrer ‘Detective’.

Jithu also remembered that though he has highest regard for Urashy, she was the last one to have been approached for the role as he didn't want any similarity between his movie and the Sathyan Anthikkad hit ‘Achuvinte Amma’, in which Urvashy was cast in a very similar role.
