“Nakshatrangale Kaaval” turns cinema

“Nakshatrangale Kaaval”- the famous novel which earned late film maker Padmarajan his first Kerala Sahithya Academy award, is turning into a cinema. The novel will be scripted to suit the screen by Padamarajan's son and famous TV personality Ananda Padmanabhan together with Babu Janardhanan. To be directed by Deepan of ‘Puthiya Mukham’ fame, the movie is expected to bring in Meera Jasmine and Priyamani in the lead roles of Kalyani and Shobha. Anoop Menon will be the hero of the movie, which will also feature Jagathy Sreekumar in a pivotal role.

‘Subramaniapuram’ fame James Vasanthan will handle the music section of the movie while Manoj Pillai will crank the camera. The shoot for 'Nakshatrangale Kaaval' will start by the month of September.
