Eighties had only a couple of consistent hit-makers in Malayalam. And the big name among them was I V Sasi, a director with 150 films to his credit, who continued with his dream run among hits till ‘Devasuram’ which was out in 1993. The director had then fallen from grace to make duds after duds with his latest like ‘Vellathooval’, not even making an opening.

Anyhow, the news is that the hit trio of I V Sasi-Mammootty and T. Damodaran who have a dozen of big hits to their credit including ‘Avanazhi’, 1921, Vaartha, Inspector Balram, Ee Nadu, Iniyenkilum and Innalenkil Nale will soon unite to make another good flick for Mollywood.

I V Sasi's return film is now being planned with all vigour as T Damodaran has started scripting an explosive stuff with the megastar.

The last time the trio got together was for Balram Vs Tharadas, which couldn't create big ripples in the Box Office.
